What is CrossFit?
The CrossFit Program:
Pure Fitness Carlsbad is proud to be the home of Carlsbad CrossFit. CrossFit group classes will be held on the basketball court and in the back parking lot. Workouts will include movements that are necessary and common in our daily activities, like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting and running. Programming will include a conditioning workout and a strength workout within the same hour. You will improve your capacity in ten recognized fitness domains: cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy.
If you show up and work hard you will see results. From decreasing your mile time to losing body fat, to increasing the number of pushups you can do in one minute. We will provide a competitive, fun environment that encourages everyone to blur the line between perfect form and intensity (increasing your power output). Not interested in being an elite level athlete? Not a problem. We welcome all levels of fitness if you are willing to be coachable and work hard.
CrossFit is for you if you:
• Want to get in shape but don’t know how to design a fitness program
• Have lost interest in your gym routine or get bored with your workouts
• Think you don’t have time to exercise
• Are looking to get faster or stronger for your sport
• Are no longer seeing results with your current training regimen.
